Empowering Communities Through Skill Acquisition and Humanitarian Service

Activities of the Commemoration of Chief Dr. Gideon Birthday

The Max & Karl Charity Foundation proudly organized a remarkable three-day skill acquisition program in commemoration of the birthday of Chief Dr. Gideon Chidiebere Osi, a respected leader and role model dedicated to community growth and empowerment. The event served as both a celebration of impactful leadership and an opportunity to uplift individuals through practical learning and empowerment.

Held at Kaduna Community School in Minna, Niger State, the free training program brought together participants from different backgrounds who were eager to gain valuable vocational skills. The training covered several income-generating areas including leather works, cosmetics production, pastries and snacks, decoration, and other entrepreneurial skills designed to encourage financial independence and creativity.

Throughout the program, participants engaged in hands-on practical sessions where they learned how to produce perfumes, shampoos, face creams, bags, shoes, pastries, cakes, and decorative items. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, teamwork, and determination as attendees explored new opportunities for personal and economic growth.

Beyond the training sessions, the event also strengthened community bonds by bringing people together in an environment of support, encouragement, and shared purpose. Relief materials, mentorship, and motivational interactions further inspired participants to believe in their abilities and pursue sustainable livelihoods.

The commemoration reflected the foundation’s commitment to empowering communities, reducing unemployment, and creating opportunities for long-term development. By investing in people and equipping them with practical skills, the initiative continues to make a meaningful impact on individuals, families, and society at large.
